For anyone who stayed home because of the possible poor weather, all I can
say is you should have chanced it.
Aaron Fogg and I showed up early Friday afternoon to mostly sunny skies but
35 MPH winds. We decided to bag putting up the tents and wait out the
weather. Off to the Mansfield bar for a beer, shot and some food. By the
time we got back, the winds had died down a little and we were able to put
up the tent and setup somewhat of an area where we would call home for the
next few days.
Early that night the rains came in and well I must say I was a bit doubtful
that we were going have any type of launch that weekend. But we all decided
to make the best of it and see what how it all pans out. With the exception
of "Debbie Downer", we all kept and optimist attitude. You know who you are

Friday we woke up to wonderful blue skies. Low winds and just a few clouds
here and there. Needless to say, all three days were splendid flying weather
days. Some of the recovery's I went on were longer than I had hoped, but it
is what it is.
I went 5 for 5 on my flights.
